Founded in 2023 by Rorisang “RJ” Lesetedi, at just 16 years old, Stay Prayed Up started as a vision carried by faith more than resources. It was never just about clothing...it was about holding on to something bigger when life didn’t make sense.

Before the brand had a name, RJ was already building the mindset. In primary school, he sold sweets. In high school, he moved to cakes, and later even sold cars ...not for status, but to keep his dreams alive. Every hustle was a step, every setback was a lesson, and every sacrifice was quietly shaping the story behind this brand.

Stay Prayed Up began as a two-man vision, but life shifted and RJ continued the journey alone. Not because it was easy ...but because he refused to let what he believed in die.

In 2025, he made a decision that hurt but was necessary. He paused the brand to focus on finishing matric. To outsiders, it looked like the end. But for RJ, it was a season of silence, reflection, and growth. While people thought the brand had fallen, he was still building ...sketching ideas, creating designs, and carrying a vision that never left him.

Now in 2026, Stay Prayed Up returns.. not rushed, not random, but reborn with meaning.
